In February of 2016, for the week leading up to Super Bowl 50, we fabricated a two-sided display in a plaza in downtown San Francisco. Built around two twenty-foot ocean containers, which are conveniently also used to ship the display, the installation features two thirteen-foot tall 50s mounted on the top of the backlit “Super Bowl” pedestals. Both sides of the interior of the display are lined with multi-screen video walls for showing interviews and highlights from previous games.
